Donate A Wig, is an international charity helping cancer patients cope with the appearance related side effects of their treatment.
We provide free wigs, makeovers, confidence boosting workshops and practical advice for women in the underprivileged communities in Africa.

We invite you to become a volunteer. Volunteers are the heart of our work. Their dedication and contribution is most valuable to us. People make the difference and the change. Their time and energy is what makes our work move forward and expand.

Become a DAW Friend by making a regular monthly donation. By choosing to give a regular monthly donation, you will be helping us to plan ahead and make long-term improvements for the women we support.
£5 a month could go towards funding a make-up bag or a larger donation of £100 a month could go towards a wig.

Why not ask for donations instead of gifts for your birthday, anniversary or wedding? It is an inspiring way for family and friends to mark your special occasion. Donations can be made via Bank Transfer (details in the footer section).
purple wig event
We host our Purple Wig event once a year. E-mail our office to express your interest. This is a fun evening filled with great entertainment that help to raise vital funds for wigs for our ladies who would otherwise would not be able to afford or access one.
makeover 4 makeover
Makeovers are a great way to cheer up and feel better about yourself. Now you can have or organise a makeover fundraiser with your colleagues/family and friends with the added benefit of knowing that each paid makeover funds a makeover. E-mail our office for more details.

We invite you to hold a fundraiser of your choice to support DAW. Organising a fundraising event can be as simple as a pub crawl, campaign on your campus, sponsored challenge or a coffee morning. E-mail our office for more details.
