This is Milicent. Milicent Kagonga 29, is a Cervical Cancer survivor and one of our beneficiaries at Donate A Wig. She comes from Kariobangi North one of the most deprived areas in Kenya. In 2018 Milicent attended one of our Feel Good Makeover Sessions and later a Vision Board Workshop. Milicent shared that there were no Cancer support groups in the underprivileged areas of Nairobi. We had various local businesses, as well as international businesses and organisations, come together to help us pull off a successful makeover for 55 women. The day started with a time of prayer and singing. Despite the challenges each woman was facing, for that moment they seemed to be able to put that on the side and unite in gratitude at the opportunity to come together.
